Our new project

Isn't she pretty? We got her today off Craig's List. She is a 1976 Argosy by Airstream and is in awesome condition for her age. If we wanted we could take it out tomorrow. But we won't. We figure we will use it for extra space when we have lots of guests this winter and do some work on it. There are lots of little things to do and the biggest thing is new flooring. The carpet is pretty gross and really not the best flooring for camping I think! We will probably put down vinyl or marmoleum.

This model has two double beds so I will need to make at least 2 quilts to keep in it and I think I will also replace the curtains and upholstery. Since it is from '76 and has a brown/orange/gold striped awning I think we will go with '70s earthtones for the interior too. I think it will be fun!

Neither of us really thought we would ever own a trailer, but now that we have it we are warming up to the idea of hitting the road with it occasionally.

That camper looks so cozy. We used to go camping every summer, at a State Beach. But we had a tent, three kids and a big dog.
