I am quite pleased with the results. This is the most tidy it has ever been for guests in the four years it has been my sewing room. It still has a ways to go but once I get rid of some of the boxes of fabric for Lutheran World Relief quilts and Project Linus quilts it will be much better.I haven't really gotten much done sewing-wise. I have just been working on the hand quilting on my row by row quilt. I am happy with what I have done on it so far but there is a long way to go yet!
I also took three sewing machines in to be cleaned, oiled, checked over and adjusted where necessary. My two Singer 301's and this old beast...
My other project that last few days has been getting things together to take to my quilt retreat next weekend. With company in the sewing room I wanted to get a head start on the packing up.

What a transformation! I'm shocked it only took you 2 weeks.
I'll be starting the cleaning process this weekend in my sewing room. Hopefully, I'll have as much success as you.
Pretty good. The most I could manage with my sewing room is to put in a little kid on a sleeping bag! But my living room sofa opens into a bed, so there you are.
verry sherry - trust me, I was tired doing it too! I am enjoying the company.
knitted gems - there is still more to accomplish in the cleaning but two weeks made it usable for guests!
roz - we have a futon too but the sewing room provides privacy and a chance to sleep past 5:30am which is when my son gets up to get ready for school.
